Aromatherapy is a holistic treatment involving the use of
essential oils extracted from plants to improve physical

and vitality by stimulating the body to heal itself by reducing
stress, which is often a cause of many ailments and illnesses.

of massage, though they can be used in the bath, by compress
or inhalation (not recommended for asthmatics).

oils, some of the most popular oils used in aromatherapy
today include lavender, bergamot, chamomile, rosemary, geranium
and tea tree.
The oils when applied to the skin or inhaled are absorbed
into the bloodstream affecting the mood and the sense of
wellbeing, by creating a relaxing or stimulating effect.

What happens in an aromatherapy treatment?
On your first visit we will chat about your general health,
so that I can get a picture of what’s happening both
physically and emotionally. This will help me decide which
essential oils are most appropriate for you. After selecting
and blending the essential oils they will be applied in combination
with massage.

The session will last between 60 and 75 minutes.
